Latinx Pop Magazine enhances the yearly activities of the Latinx Pop Lab that include: The Latinx Creative Critical Consortium symposium, providing students from UT Austin and various Texas university campuses with opportunities to create critical and creative work that resonates on and off-campus. The Creative Collaboratory residency, bringing comics creating workshops to UT Austin and K-5 students. And the BIPOC POP: Comics, Gaming & Animation Arts Expo & Symposium, which brings to the UT campus over 100 creatives, scholars, and industry leaders working in comics, gaming, animation, and multimedia arts to strengthen community through sharing of cutting-edge creative and critical knowledge BIPOC POP storytelling arts.
